Aims
The St Vincent’s Clinic Foundation has been established to:

Advance the interests of the Clinic as a multi-disciplinary medical clinic operating in accordance with the Health Care Philosophy of the Mary Aikenhead Ministries

Promote and develop medical (or related) research

Assist in the development of instruments, devices or drugs to be used in the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of disease

Organise experts (who are distinguished in any branch of medicine or medical science or allied science) to give lectures or demonstrations

Provide assistance for Clinic doctors in preparing lectures or the preparation for publication of articles, books or other printed matter dealing with medicine or any allied science

Promote and aid in promoting lectures and demonstrations in any branch of medicine, medical science or allied sciences for the promotion of health services in general

Assist in promoting health and medical education to the community, in particular the dissemination of meaningful and scientifically correct information on prevention of disease and illness
In particular, the Foundation aims to:

Assist researchers on the St Vincent's Campus to develop research programmes so that they are eligible to apply for external grants (e.g. government grants)

Support research on the St Vincent's Campus

Underpin clinical excellence with basic medical research

Provide financial assistance to "up and coming" researchers
